It has been a long time coming! Our extensive remodeling of our community is just about complete. Over the past 10 months, the community has undergone a great deal of construction. The project included: a new driveway, complete refurbishing of the lobby, renovation of our library, sitting room, dining room, activities room, hallways, a number of remodeled rooms, and our Memory Care neighborhood. We are extremely pleased at how our community has turned out, and more excited for our current and future residents.
Our new look helps to compliment the already existing high quality of care we provide for our seniors. Pacifica Senior Living is committed to providing seniors in the Santa Clarita Valley with quality care in a comfortable environment. Our care and activity programs are geared towards our resident’s preferences to support a high quality of life. Our staff works with each resident to serve their needs in a professional and caring manner. Residents are consistently provided dignity and respect by each of our trained staff member.
To enhance our care services, we have created a specialized neighborhood for residents with memory care needs. Our goal here is to ensure each resident is comfortable and happy, while being cared for by staff that truly cares. This program will provide residents with an opportunity to participate in specialized activities appropriate for memory-impaired residents. These activities are geared towards small groups and individual programs with our care staff. The focus of this neighborhood is not “what there is to do,” but rather emphasis is placed on a sense of “how you feel.” We are looking forward to opening this special neighborhood in mid-October.
