My life has truly been transformed by Dr. Koh’s gift of healing. I was in pain every day for the past nine years, as a result of a very bad reaction to Prednison. I went from a super athletic person who free climbed cliffs and hiked in the wilderness, swam and played many spots, to one who had joint, tendon and muscle pain all over my body, limited range of movement especially my neck, sleeping problems, short term memory loss, tremendous weight gain, extreme tiredness, and of course depression. This was diagnosed as an autoimmune disease called, (UCTD) Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease requiring me to take harsh drugs with nasty side effects. All this left me at the end of my rope and praying for a positive change in my health. My physician’s assistant, thank goodness, referred me to Dr Koh.
Even though I am adverse to needles, I felt I had nothing to lose—I was desperate. I ended up not feeling the needles in most cases or the other equipment, but in all cases, amazingly enough, the cursed fog of constant pain was finally lifted, most of it even after the first treatment. Wow! I had forgotten what it was like to be without pain and could finally sleep and my energy began to return. My neck stenosis pain disappeared and I could turn my head. I only had some stiffness that would come back on occasion.
Dr. Koh showed he really cared not only about my health, but also about me. He took his time with me, asked about my life, and made me smile and laugh. At first we were unsure if my insurance would cover the costs. Whatever the cost I figured it was worth it as there is no price on good health. Every visit is a pleasant experience—I actually look forward to my appointments, needles and all. Laughter is also good medicine. What I see here is true medicine.
Now that my pain is gone, it is time to reduce my weight to a healthy place again as I know my life is back. My co-workers have noticed a positive change in me and asked me what I have been doing. They say I radiate light from within. I am no longer a prisoner of pain. – Melody Reid, Santa Clarita
