Dave stumbled across this 1950’s Sedan Delivery while out one day with his neighbor who was the one actually looking for a project car.  The Sedan was across the yard and Dave, looking for something different to build, took it home while his neighbor was still looking for that project car.  Media blasting the body revealed a hard life of old accidents, old bodywork and that nasty four-letter word r-u-s-t.  According to Dave, the only good part of the body was the roof.  While bodywork was being done, the suspension was also getting updated.  A narrowed Curry 9” rear-end, a TCI Mustang II type front end and a full four-wheel air ride suspension gave the car a great stance.  Wheels are Weld Racing on Hoosier tires, the rear being huge 31 16.5 x 15’s.  It also features a custom 1000-watt, multi disc stereo system that was installed by Dave’s son, Todd.  Dave was looking for something different to build and by looking at the vehicle and all of the custom features, he truly has something different that everyone would love to own.  The car is always a crowd favorite at local car shows and has received a number of awards including being selected as Car of the Year for 2008 at the annual Saugus Speedway show.
