The holiday season is a time to show compassion and raise the awareness of the need for every child in America to have a safe, loving and permanent home.  With 129,000 children currently in foster care, Children’s Bureau is seeking caring families to consider adoption.  The agency is holding the following monthly information meetings for those interested in learning more:  December 17 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at the Bethlehem Lutheran church located at 27265 Luther Drive in Canyon Country.
Children’s Bureau has finalized over 1,000 adoptions for families across six counties in Southern California.  Individuals (single or married), teachers, retired persons and anyone interested in helping at-risk children find the love, stability and support a family can provide are encouraged to contact Children’s Bureau.  Qualifying families receive training, certification, benefits (including medical for the children) and 24-hour support to aid in the care of their foster or adoptive children.  To see pictures of the children needing homes and to view videos of many of our happy adoptive families, visit our website at www.all4kids.org and click Foster Care & Adoption.  Children’s Bureau has been helping children and families for over 100 years.

For over 100 years, Children’s Bureau has been a nonprofit leader in the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect.  More than 14,000 children and families are helped each year throughout Southern California with services that include school readiness, parenting classes, family resource centers, support groups, mental health counseling, foster care, adoption and more.
