Assistance League annually conducts a National Conference where over 120 chapter and guild members from around the country gather for learning opportunities as well as networking. The 2009 Leadership Conference was held October 14 to 18 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas. Seven members of the Santa Clarita Chapter of Assistance League attended workshops on nonprofit topics such as Operation School BellR, strategic planning, thrift shops, membership orientation and fundraising, and listen to dynamic motivational speakers.
