Money Saving Tax Incentives and Rebates offered:
Federal Tax Credits for Energy Efficiency, on February 17, 2009, President Obama signed a stimulus bill (The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009) that made some significant changes to the energy efficiency tax credits. Earn up to a $1,500.00 tax credit, which is offered through the end of 2010.
Southern California Gas Company, The 2009 Home Energy Efficiency Rebate Program offers cash rebates on qualifying energy-efficiency upgrades or improvements made to single-family homes, condominiums, or attached residential units (maximum of four.)
• Rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted.
• To qualify, energy-efficient products must be purchased and installed on or
after January 1, 2009.
