Enjoy another new art exhibit at Tesoro Adobe Historical Park from January 10 to March 5, with a free public reception on February 6 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.  View artwork, enjoy appetizers, tour the museum which houses collectibles from the 1930s and take in the beautiful scenery of cacti, succulents and desert flowers surrounding the Adobe. Face painting will be a key attraction for children at the reception.  Bring your children and expose them to the fun of art.  The Santa Clarita Artists’ Association is constantly trying to find new ways to expand and broaden the community’s view of art in the SCV.  “Changing exhibits are designed to do just that,” says Laurie Morgan, outgoing President, SCAA, “with art for every taste and pocketbook.”  In addition, a People’s Choice award will be awarded.
Tesoro Adobe Historical Park address is 29350 Avenida Rancho Tesoro 91364, off Copper Hill, just west of McBean.  For information about the Santa Clarita Artists’ Association, please see: www.santaclaritaartists.org/ .
