On January 1st, 2010 four Eagle Scouts from the Santa Clarita Valley helped kick off the 100 Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. These four scouts from the Bill Hart District joined 300 Eagle Scouts from throughout Southern California to march in the Rose Parade alongside the Boy Scout float entitled “Celebrating the Adventure, Continuing the Journey”. The float won the National Trophy for “The Best Depiction of Life in the USA, Past, Present or Future.
