June is the month of new beginnings. Summer is here and weddings and honeymoon trips are taking place. For some, it is the most wonderful time of the year. For some children however, this month is not a time of excitement and happiness. When school ends and friends leave, some children feel lost and alone. How can sorrow creep into the lives of children when the sun is out, parks are green and flowers in bloom? Some children have parents in trouble or have been neglected or abused. They need only a family to make this month shine. Inner Circle Foster Care and Adoption Services attempts to find single and married families who have a stable home to serve as foster families and adoptive families. We provide interesting and helpful training that prepares adults to take one or more children into their homes. With an understanding and appreciation of what children in special circumstances need, we hope you will consider contacting us. You can turn a negative, lonely summer into one of wonder and hope.
