A recent Ibbotson poll(1) reveals that while 83 percent of Americans, 30 and older, agree that the current economic crisis has increased their desire to provide financial protection for their family, more than half of those surveyed lack a proper financial plan in case of the loss of the family breadwinner. Instead, survey respondents reported they would rely on their retirement savings, borrowing from family or getting another job if faced with financial hardship as the result of the loss of a breadwinner.
Additionally(1), only about one-third identified life insurance as the answer to meet their financial needs in these circumstances. These demographic realities have created unprecedented opportunities for U.S. insurers and unlimited earning potential for the thousands of Agents who work in the Life insurance industry, as well as a chance for one individual to make a difference in the lives of many others.
With statistics like that, your success as an experienced Life insurance professional is on your shoulders and your wisdom and ambition can take you as far as you want to go. Even more so with the backing of the right partner.
In fact, if you’re ready to take your career to the next level, perhaps you owe it to yourself to explore your options. Think carefully, however, about the company you choose to join.
In addition to a competitive compensation and benefits package, ask yourself the following when considering joining a new company:
• What can it offer me in terms of benefits, training, and growth?
• Does it offer innovative and competitive products?
• Do they have Advanced Market support?
• Do they have accelerated handling and underwriting of large cases?
• Is it a leader in the Million Dollar Round Table?
• Do they have proven lead generation and marketing support?
Partner with the right company, and you’re in control of your future.
