Beginning with an Opening Ceremony and Survivor Lap, many took turns walking or running laps. Live bands entertained walkers and eventgoers had the opportunity to participate at booths to help further raise money for ACS. Guest speakers gave encouraging and uplifting messages of hope during the Luminaria Ceremony, while bags of candles were lit in honor of those battling cancer, those who’ve passed away from cancer as well as caregivers. Supporters took turns walking throughout the night and until the wee hours of the morning. The Fight Back/Closing Ceremony, held on Sunday morning ended yet another successful overnight event for the ACS Relay for Life.
