The aromas entice your taste buds, and the flavors simply satisfy them. We started off the review with freshly baked seasoned breadsticks, so good you just can’t have one. They serve as the perfect complement to any dish.
While the BBQ Chopped Salad is one of Stonefire’s most popular signature salads, General Manager Patti Carrick decided to serve up another delicious fave- the South of the Border salad, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with her choice. Freshly chopped greens, mixed with corn, red peppers, red onions, tomato, avocados, tortillas, red cabbage and pepitas, tossed in chili lime vinaigrette and topped with feta cheese-it was fresh and delightful. “Everything is fresh and made to order, and the salad comes with your choice of tri-tip or chicken,” states Patti.
Next on the menu was a tender, flavorful tri-tip, seasoned to perfection. It’s amazing! Add a kick with a side of Stonefire’s Cowboy Beans or cool it off with fresh Nutty Coleslaw. For a heartier side dish be sure and try the “out-of-this-world” Garlic Mashed Potatoes.
We couldn’t wait to dig into the next course-a full slab of mouth-watering baby back ribs, finished on the mesquite grill, and smothered in Stonefire’s signature BBQ sauce. This dish will certainly have me coming back for more.
As if the food couldn’t get any tastier, it certainly did when Patti brought out a whole lemon garlic chicken. WOW! For all you garlic fans, this is the perfect dish-the juicy chicken was bursting with flavor!
When you think of barbecue, you think of ribs, tri-tip and chicken. But what about pizza? Mesquite BBQ Pizza to be exact. On Stonefire’s traditional crust, you can choose either grilled bbq chicken or tri tip, topped with Gouda cheese, cilantro and red onion. This is, by far, one of the best bbq pizzas I have tried. The bbq sauce perfectly complements the meats and cheeses. Simply delectable.
To finish off the Stonefire experience, we had to leave room for freshly baked desserts. The Heavenly Cheesecake is definitely “sent from above.” Topped with fresh blueberries, it’s rich and it’s irresistible. Satisfy your sweet tooth with Stonefire’s Incredible Carrot Cake or their Famous Fudge Brownies. It’s the perfect way to end a meal.
