Fillmore & Western Railway Co. hosts Santa Claus aboard their variety of Holiday Trains beginning the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 27.  The vintage train departs and returns to the quaint little town of Fillmore, in East Ventura County, only 20 minutes West of Six Flags Magic Mountain.  Bring the family and start your holiday season aboard the Christmas Tree Trains, where you ride to a private Christmas Tree Farm, search for the perfect tree, cut it down and then transport it back to town on a flatcar.
Another popular seasonal evening train ride is The North Pole Express, running Wednesdays through Sundays, November 27 through December 27.  Elves onboard each railcar read a Christmas story and lead the passengers in singing Christmas carols while the train travels to The North Pole to pick up Santa Claus.  Children are encouraged to wear pajamas and bring their teddy bears.  The elves and chefs will also pass out chocolate milk and cookies.  Once the train has returned to the station, children can present Santa with their “wish lists” as he is seated on his Christmas throne.
Adults can escape the hectic pace of the season and enjoy a night out aboard the famous Murder Mystery Dinner Train, Saturday nights in December until Christmas.  It is a wonderfully different venue for Corporate Holiday parties.  Rounding out the year is our annual “New Years Eve Party Train,” featuring a three-course dinner, midnight champagne toast and dancing in the dance car.  P. Maxwell Production actors will be “in character” on New Years Eve, with well-known personalities from the past.
