You can’t have a December Celebrity Sightings without this month’s biggest celebrity of all, the bearded man himself-Santa Claus. All the way from the North Pole, Santa made his way to the Westfield Valencia Town Center just to meet and greet his biggest fans. Thanks for the photo, Santa!
It’s been quite a year, Santa Clarita. We’ve had a few run-ins with stars from the hit television series Glee. Keyboardist Mark Nilan, Jr. and actor Kevin McHale, who plays Artie Abrams, took a moment to pose for our cameras. Teen heartthrobs like Mitchel Musso, who plays Oliver on Hannah Montana, and Taylor Lautner, otherwise known as Jacob Black in The Twilight Saga film series, were also seen around town. I was inundated with sightings from the Jonas Brothers when they were out here filming an episode for Jonas at the Westfield Valencia Town Center.
Many television superstars make their way in our homes and sometimes we get lucky enough to see them out and about. Actor James “Jim” Belushi, Crossing Jordan’s Jerry O’Connell, NCIS’ Mark Harmon, Michael Weatherly, and Cote de Pablo, One Tree Hill’s Jackson Brundage, and even Jaleel White who played the role of Urkel were all seen around town.
Superstars in the sports world have also been sighted-Major League Soccer’s Chivas USA, MLB’s Matt Kemp, James McDonald and Ramon Troncoso, welterweight Sid El Haraak, and the world famous soccer stud, David Beckham. And let’s not forget those who have sung their way into our heart and Valley. Five for Fighting’s John Ondrasik headlined at the Michael Hoefflin’s Evening Under the Stars, Taylor Swift took a few photos with some SCV residents and I even spotted an old heartthrob of mine-Donnie Wahlberg from NKOTB.
These are just a few of the many celebrities that have been seen around town in 2010. There’s still so many more to report, so stay tuned for many more in 2011.
