Hello again! Can it be possible that we are already in December? It is time to think about the holidays.
We here at J.R.’s Comedy Club can help with a lot of your Holiday plans. We have gift certificates available, so you can buy the gift of laughter. We also always have a few holiday parties at J.R.’s. It’s not to late to schedule one for your office or company.
I have scheduled a great lineup of comedians for this month.
On December 3 and 4, we have the very funny Danny Villalpando. Danny has appeared many times on television, and regularly goes all over the world performing for our troops. Also on the bill is Brandon Vestal, a recent arrival to Los Angeles from Oklahoma. You may have seen him on the most recent season of Last Comic Standing. He is one of the funniest new guys I have seen in along time.
On December 10 and 11 we have one of our favorite all time acts, John DiCrosta. John is simply one of the funniest people on earth. He does hilarious characters, silly voices, and even some ventriloquism. Appearing with John is Claude Shires, who recently performed at our Ventura club, and knocked them dead.
On December 17 and 18, yours truly Randy Lubas will be at the club. It will be great for me to come in and do my Christmas material for you.
We will be dark on Christmas Eve and on Christmas, but after that we will have our biggest night of the year on New Year’s Eve. We will have two big shows. East Coast New Year’s will be from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m., and West Coast New Year’s will be from 8:30 p.m. until 2011. Each seating will feature a superb dinner, champagne toast, party favors, and noisemakers. Our headliner will be the one and only, Don McMillan. Don is known as the Hi-Tech Comedian. He is the only comedian working in power point. He is a $100,000 winner on Star Search, has been on The Tonight Show, and done tons of national Commercials. His act is one of a kind and always kills every show.
