At Ma Maison we always strive to bring eclectic international music to our store to enhance the ambience and transport our customers into a relaxing atmosphere. Most of us recognize the importance music plays in our mood, motivation, feelings, etc.: but in this day and age, there has been an ongoing decline in traditional record store sales and we find our best sources for music to be Shazam, U tube, Facebook and Starbucks. But Ma Maison has found the answer!
Many times we have been complimented on the artistic selection we play at the store and requests have been made to sell the music. Up to this point the music played at the store has been from the private collection of the Owner and hence is not re-producable; but we took your requests seriously and the quest has been ongoing for finding an appropriate CD product. Finally, a Buenes Aires based music brokerage company has answered our criteria and newly entered the U.S. market. We have been playing this down tempo, lounge, new takes on traditional classics collection for weeks at the store and love the cutting edge music and have had a great response.
