On February 12, wine lovers from all over joined together for the 1st Annual SCV Wine Fest at the Embassy Suites in Valencia. Guests sampled some of the best local food and wine and spirits from over 100 different labels, enjoying educational seminars designed the demystify the art of wine tasting.
Proceeds of the event helped raise money for one of Santa Clarita’s newest non-profits, Family Promise of Santa Clarita Valley, an organization committed to helping Santa Clarita’s 850 plus homeless junior and senior high school students. The event took place from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. with a separate VIP charity dinner event immediately following.
