Summerhill Villa, Santa Clarita’s premiere senior independent and assisted living community is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month! Summerhill Villa is proud to be called “home” by over 120 residents because of its friendly, warm and caring atmosphere. Summerhill Villa is “the best of both worlds,” by offering seniors their own private apartment with the comfort of knowing that staff is available 24 hours a day to assist you if necessary.
Our residents spend their days free from worry, and are pampered with three delicious chef-prepared meals daily and weekly housekeeping. Days are spent participating in the many social and recreational activities that are offered. You can always find a group playing bingo, blackjack or bunco in our large and airy activity room. Friends can be found sharing conversations while enjoying a cup of coffee and a fresh pastry in the French Café. A movie might be playing in our home theatre – a musical, western, comedy or new-release can have a packed house! Residents take weekly trips to museums, restaurants, plays, scenic drives and maybe even a picnic at the beach! Our residents stay in shape by participating in an exercise class such as Tai-Chi, Balance or Stretching to Music or by strolling along our walking path in the courtyard surrounded by Heritage oak trees. For residents with memory impairment, we offer Summerhill Villa II, a safe and secure community that meets the needs of individuals and their families who are affected by dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
