On Saturday, April 9, friends and family gathered to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s annual Great Strides walk in Valencia. It was a successful event as the streets of Town Center Drive were lined with hundreds of supporters. After taking three laps around Wesfield’s Valencia Town Center, guests enjoyed live music, delicious food and raffle prizes.
Proceeds from the walk benefited the CF Foundation and their quest to fine a cure for CF. “So far we’ve raised $65,000 in Valencia, and we are so pleased,” states Gillian Stone, Director of Special Events. The CF Foundation is dedicated to help cure and control CF and to improve the quality of life for those suffering with the disease.
