Roll out the red carpet, Santa Clarita, the stars are most certainly here! Thank you to all of you who have submitted sightings. It’s so much fun to see the photos and hear the stories about your “brushes with fame”. I’ve had a couple myself these last few months.
I had an awesome opportunity to meet up with K-EARTH 101’s On Air Host and News Director, Bob Malik at Le Chene the other evening. 
A few days later, Bob kindly invited me to the studio down on The Miracle Mile in Los Angeles for a cover photo shoot for the April/May issue of élite Magazine. What an absolute blast it was to be in the studio during The Morning Show with Gary Bryan! And what an awesome group of celebs they are. I met the Morning show host himself, Gary Bryan, Entertainment Reporter Lisa Stanley, Tim Halm, a.k.a. The Cabana Boy, and host of Back to the Beatles, Jim Carson, to name a few.
Bob was kind enough to take me on set where he has been delivering the news to K-EARTH 101 listeners for nearly 10 years. He also hosts the Beatle Years, which airs locally on Sunday mornings. You can learn more about the talented radio host and Santa Clarita resident, and how he made his way from the farms of Modesto all the way to Hollywood in the cover story of the April/May issue of élite.
Our next celebrity’s soothing voice has captured the hearts of fans worldwide. Former Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson was seen at Lombardi Ranch. “Kevin was nice enough to take a photo with us,” states fan and Santa Clarita resident Haley Osorio. “He is the nicest guy!” In 1993, Kevin joined the Backstreet Boys along with his cousin Brian Littrell. Kevin recorded five albums with the group and left in June of 2006. Kevin resides in the SCV and has added modeling and acting to his successful career.
The Afetian girls have a special knack for spotting the stars, as this is their second celebrity sighting this year! Thank you for a job well done! Disney’s Windell Middlebrooks was seen in the SCV a few months back. “We were shopping when my girls Cassandra and Christina looked up and saw one of their favorite Disney stars walking by,” states mother, Kathryn Afetian. “We was so friendly, and even though he was busy shopping with a friend, he set aside his armful of ties and shirts to happily pose for the picture. He was very gracious and my kids had a blast meeting him!”
Windell played the role of Kirby Morris on The Suite Life on Deck, worked on Hannah Montana and Entourage to name a few. He currently plays the role of Dr. Curtis Brumfield on the medical drama television series Body of Proof.
