The 23rd Annual Child & Family Center’s “Taste of the Town” was held Sunday, May 1 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the beautiful Mann Biomedical Park in Valencia.  The event helped support mental health services for children and families in Santa Clarita Valley.
With 40 various restaurants and wine venues from around town brought together for the special gathering, guests were very pleased with the scrumptious food and desserts.  KCBS 2 journalist, Sandra Mitchell, along with local celebrity Ed Masterson hosted the occasion during the day.  Additionally, Mark LeVang and Friends provided live music for the ceremony and a silent auction was held on stage as well, with items given away like a custom designed bridal dress, or the nine-week-old, chocolate Labrador puppy, which was given away to a new family.  This year Taste of the Town was co-chaired by Ginger LeVang and Scott Shepard, Child & Family Center Foundation board members.
