Last month we featured some of the actors and actresses from the hit television series Desperate Housewives. There were so many to list we had to make this a two part feature.
The drama free evening continued on Wisteria Lane as the cast of Desperate Housewives, amongst other television and movie stars gathered for the Block Party on Wisteria Lane to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (www.cff.org)
I was so excited to meet the tall and handsome Nathan Fillion, who currently stars as Richard Castle on the hit ABC series Castle. He is also known for his role as Captain Malcolm Reynolds in the television series Firefly and you may even recognize him from the sitcom Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place. He is as much charming in person as he is talented on screen!
Santa Clarita resident Andy Medina had the opportunity to snap a photo with former Desperate Housewife, Dana Delaney. Dana played the cold-hearted Katherine Mayfair, and currently stars as Megan Hunt on the ABC series Body of Proof.
How can you not recognize our next celeb? He played the amusing and often comical Hurley, on ABC’s Lost. Actor Jorge Garcia is best known for his role on Lost as well as his performance as Hector Lopez on the television show Becker. “I’m so grateful that such a great star would come and support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation,” states Santa Clarita resident Kristina de Bree.
Another Wisteria Lane resident to make an appearance at the Block Party was actor Mark Moses, who is known for his role as Paul Young on Desperate Housewives. Mark has also made appearances in movies like Platoon, Born on the Forth of July, The Doors and Big Momma’s House 2, to name a few. He was kind enough to take a photo with fan, Charles Hallford.
He’s known as Bachelor Bob to some, as reality television star Bob Guiney made his way into America’s home on The Bachelorette and a few seasons later, The Bachelor. Bob graced the stage singing tunes with the Band From TV on the night of the event, and Castaic resident Kevin Killian had an opportunity to snap a photograph with the star.
The stars are here, Santa Clarita. Get your cameras ready and be on the lookout. Do you have a celebrity sighting to tell and photo to share? If so, e-mail me at selgin@santaclaritamagazine.com. Happy sightings! Mamarazzi.
