Have you ever had a secret admirer? Or have you ever been the secret admirer? I am totally guilty of this, and more than once. I am sure most of us have done this. So who is this person we are fixated on? This could be someone you are attracted to at work. It could also be a person you look up to. Did you ever go up to that person and confess, or have you just kept silent, and not said a word? I have one particular lady that I have had a crush on for quite a long time. Of course she has no idea, and I am a little hesitant to say anything. No she is not married; at least she does not wear a ring. You are all probably wondering why I have not said anything yet. Growing up I was a very shy person, and anyone that is shy, knows exactly what I am talking about. I am still shy but not as bad as I was. Sometimes I can open up to a stranger, but other times my shyness gets in the way. This particular woman is not a co-worker, she happens to work for a local restaurant. This is a small place that I have frequented many times over the years. This woman has worked there for a few years, and she is in her 30’s or early 40’s. I must have bad timing because I only see her there about 10 percent of the time. I find when she is working I get tongue-tied. There is just something about her, the way she carries herself, the way she talks, and of course she is very cute to me. It’s what you would call the total package. Ok, I have forgotten one little thing… what if she has a boyfriend, or is just not interested? In any case I will continue to go there, since the food is very good. Will I ever ask her out? It’s a possibility, or I may just remain her secret admirer and enjoy her from afar. If it happens that we were to ever go out, that would make for a great follow-up story. That’s a story that could be written in the coming months, and hopefully with a happy ending. Until then I will continue to date the old fashion way, “Internet Dating”.
