Golden Oak Adult School understands second chances. In fact, it is part of our mission. A number of people, probably someone in your own circle of family and friends, did not complete their high school education for a myriad of reasons. The impact of that decision is not always apparent until later in life. That is where we can help.
Golden Oak has been assisting adults of all ages in attaining their goal to become a high school graduate, both through high school diploma and GED test preparation classes since opening our doors in 1948. Our graduates are as diverse as their motivations for ultimately recognizing the importance and gratification of becoming a high school graduate.
Whether the aim is higher education, improving employment opportunities, or simply personal growth, our caring, dedicated staff and volunteers are committed to assisting in the realization of that goal.
In addition to high school diploma/GED classes, Golden Oak offers a variety of areas of study including career technical/vocational education courses such as computer training, masonry, and personal care assistant.
