A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to meet superstar stand-up comedian Carlos Mencia at the Ice House in Pasadena. Not only was he hilarious, but he was super nice. You may recognize Carlos as he is the former host of Comedy Central’s Mind of Mencia. Carlos began his comedy career at The Laugh Factory, and later became a regular at The Comedy Store. He’s also made appearances on In Living Color, The Arsenio Hall Show, Moesha, and more. Carlos’ Mind of Mencia debuted on Comedy Central in 2005, and was Comedy Central’s second highest rated program in the spring of 2006. Thank you Randy, for taking the photo!
Pop singer, Greyson Chance, was spotted in Newhall a few months back. Greyson was filming his newest video, Unfriend You. Greyson is a 14 year old from Oklahoma and is most recognized for his part in Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi video. “My daughters were both in his new video,” states mother, Suzanne. “He is such a talented singer and pianist!” Greyson is pictured with Erica Wolfe, who played the role of the singer’s new girlfriend, and Alexis, who is in many of the dance scenes in the video.
KTLA’s fun loving, on air reporter Allie Mac Kay was seen at Spokes Indoor Cycling just last month. Allie paid a visit to Spokes for one of her early morning segments. You can see the pictures of Allie on page 122 in our On the Town feature.
