The sky lit up as 1,500 participants came out to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk at Bridgeport Park in Valencia. Festivities began with live music, a remembrance ceremony honoring loved ones who have passed, and then a walk that began at twilight.
Teams carried illuminated balloons representing survivors (white) supporters (red) and those who lost their battle to blood cancer (gold). Proceeds from the Light the Night benefited the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the world’s largest health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services.
