It is indeed the most wonderful time of the year as the streets are lined with holiday décor and neighborhoods are all lit up. The spirit of the holiday season is here, Santa Clarita, and so are the stars! It has been such a star-studded 2011, and I want to thank you for all the emails you’ve sent sharing your photos and brushes with fame. Earlier in the year, actresses Sasha Pieterse and Lindsey Shaw were sighted and what an exciting opportunity it was for me to spend an evening at a Block Party with the residents on Wisteria Lane. From Vanessa Williams to Marcia Cross, Teri Hatcher, to Castle’s Nathan Fillion and Lost’s Jorge Garcia. We met former New York Yankee, Al Downing and Hall of Famer Barry Bonds, and even enjoyed some time on set with KEARTH 101’s on air radio host Bob Malik and KCAL 9 news anchor Sandra Mitchell. What a fabulous year it has been, Santa Clarita, and I look forward to another star-filled year. Keep up the great work!
Former lead singer with the legendary Temptations and The Drifters, Louis Price was seen at the Michael Hoefflin Foundation’s Evening Under the Stars Gala a few months back. He kindly took a photo with our publisher, Linda Hafizi. Louis has toured all over the world with famous artists including Bill Cosby, Donna Summer, Gladys Knight and The Pips, Smokey Robinson, Aretha Franklin and many more. Louis took the stage at the Gala, singing his heart out for a great cause.
He’s definitely got The Right Stuff! Yes! I must say that I was “that girl” in the 90’s who would listen to singer Jordan Knight of New Kids on the Block and think that maybe one day he’ll be Loving Me Forever! Recently NKOTB and the Backstreet Boys (BSB) performed together for their NKOTBSB One Night, One Stage tour. Santa Clarita resident, Alexea Vazquez sighted NKOTB’s Jordan Knight after one of the concerts. “I was shopping when all of a sudden my mom and I spotted Jordan Knight. He was the nicest guy ever and was totally willing to take a picture with us!”
