More importantly, this new option gives students the added plus of completing their required classes right in their own back yard with no more commuting to the San Fernando Valley for classes previously not offered through Golden Oak. In today’s tight job market, the importance of possessing a high school diploma cannot be overstated. When pursuing career goals, many individuals don’t realize that a number of nursing programs, some branches of the military, and all University of California campuses will not accept a GED Certificate as an alternative to a high school diploma.
