The New Year is here and so are the stars…so roll out the red carpet and get your cameras ready! Thank you for all your emails and sightings. It certainly was a star studded 2011 and with 2012 here, I expect even more. Thank you Santa Clarita…keep em’ coming!
Famous interior designer, Nate Berkus was in town a few months back. You may recognize Nate as he made a regular guest appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Nate has won many awards and currently owns his own interior design company and is also the host of his show, The Nate Berkus Show. “My family and I were recently on his show that aired September 23,” states Santa Clarita resident Christine Ruiz. “He surprised us by remodeling our master bedroom. Nate was very funny and wonderful. Our family was truly blessed to have him come into our home, take the time to design a new master bedroom and give us an awesome gift.”
Saugus residents Erika and Oscar Rodriguez spent an afternoon at a charity event with the cast from Sons of Anarchy, a hit drama series featured on FX. “It was the first Boot Ride and Rally event benefitting military soldiers, helping them ease into the transition of civilian life,” states Erika.
Television and film actor, Ron Perlman was nice enough to take a photo with Oscar. Ron portrays Clay Morrow, the former President of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club in Sons of Anarchy. Ron is also well known for his role as Vincent, opposite Linda Hamilton in the television series, Beauty and the Beast, which earned him a Golden Globe Award.
You may recognize her as the funny Peggy Bundy on the long running Fox comedy series Married…with Children. Actress Katey Sagal, currently plays the role of the matriarch Gemma Teller Morrow in Sons of Anarchy. She received a Golden Globe in 2011 for this role. Katey is also known for her role in 8 Simple Rules, where she co-starred alongside the late John Ritter.
