On November 28, 2011 Soroptimist of Santa Clarita Valley presented a check to Circle of Hope in the amount of $5,500. This donation was a portion of the proceeds gained during their 8th Annual “ Bras for a Cause 2011… Denim and Diamond Hoedown” fundraiser held on October 2, 2011 at the Tournament Players Club in Valencia. 
This donation will assist breast cancer patients and their families by providing financial, emotional and educational support. In addition, 50 percent of SISCV’s donation will go towards the Circle of Hope’s Team Pink Program, a cancer awareness and community outreach program which promotes healthy behaviors associated with cancer risk patients. Team Pink offers community services opportunities for students focusing on leadership, education, and compassion for people affected by breast cancer.
