Hello comedy fans! February means we are celebrating Valentine’s Day again at J.R.’s. This year we have outdone ourselves with a very special three-headliner show. We will have James P. Connelly, who is a favorite on Sirius XM radio and on KLOS. For the female point of view, we have the very funny Bernadette Pauley, and to top it off we have club favorite, Don McMillan. Don is the hi-tech comedian, the only comedian working in power point. We will have a very special dinner, champagne toast, and a rose for the ladies. All of this is just $79 per couple. Dinner will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the show will start at 8 p.m. Make plans now.
We start the month on February 6 and 7 with Paul Ogata, who just shot his second Showtime Special. Paul’s routine about trying to grow a beard is hilarious.
On February 10 and 11 we have the very funny Tim Jones, who has one of the quickest minds in the business. Also on the bill is James Sibley, with some down home country humor.
On February 17 and 18 we have local favorite Brandon Gibson. Brandon is well known from local radio. Also on the bill is a very funny writer for Conan O’Brien, named Brian Kiley.
Finally, on February 24 and 25 we have the return of Mark Eddie, “The Rock and Roll Comedian.” Mark’s act has been described as a rock concert with non-stop laughter. Also on the bill is Kabir Singh, who was a finalist in the Funniest Person in Ventura competition, at the Ventura Comedy Festival.
