They say a picture is worth 1,000 words.  If that is the case, then the picture frame should be worth $1,000, right?  Wrong!  Actually, value and worth are very subjective.  Art is in the eye of the beholder and one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.  But one thing is constant, we all want the most bang for the buck.  Whether it is clothing, jewelry, lumber or picture framing, we all want the highest quality, the largest selection and the best workmanship at the lowest price.
When I decided to open a picture frame shop in Valencia, I wanted to provide the community with the largest selection and the highest quality in custom framing but at a price that would be the most affordable.  Sure, it meant reducing my bottom line but what good is offering exquisite custom framing if no one can afford it?
It is more important to me to have my customers get what they really want than for me to maximize my profit margin.  So, rather than buying low quality materials and over pricing them, I buy the highest quality materials and under price them.  Rather than hurrying through my work to justify my low profit margin, I take my time and give the same attention to detail that I would if I was getting top dollar.  And I am always ready to share my knowledge of art and framing at no additional cost.  That’s free!
You see, it is all about “The Big Picture.”  It isn’t what we take with us but what we leave behind that really matters.  It isn’t the picture but its lasting impression that people will remember.  That is why Valencia Art & Framing goes out of its way to make sure all our customers are completely satisfied at any cost.
We patiently take the time to present all the design options so that our customers get the best design possible for their picture.  We maintain the largest selection of molding and matting samples so that our customers will know they got the right frame at the right price for their picture.  I may be crazy, when it comes to business, but maybe if we all started giving more than we receive, this world and this economy would be doing much better.
