Dr. Dave White – Senior Pastor at NorthPark Community Church – is fond of stating the following truth: “Only two things will last for eternity: God’s Word and people.  “The implication is that whatever the investment, learning what God has to say or in the lives of people He created is well worth it!”  At NorthPark, our investment in people is not about programs—though a good Bible study, men’s retreat or fun event geared towards youth can be a great conduit to nurture a person’s mind, soul and spirit for eternity.  Everything we do is done with the intent to build wholeness into the lives of people because we know God loves them and created them to know and love Him forever!

Young people are a particular passion at NorthPark.  That’s ultimately why one of our distinctives as a church is our emphasis on educating the next generation.  We’ve partnered with Trinity Classical Academy, one of the best K-12 Christian Education opportunities in the whole country.  We created “Noah’s Park Weekday Preschool,” a premier education and nurture program for three to five year olds.
Our belief in investing in young people also motivated us to spend the last year conducting a nation-wide search for the best of the best in Youth Ministries.  As a result, NorthPark welcomed two new Youth Pastors to love and lead Jr. High and High School Students through NorthPark Student Ministries – Dan Eynon and Nate Davis.  Both men bring extensive education, experience and passion to their ministries.  Both men are married with children of their own.  And, both men can’t wait to see what God will do in the lives and hearts of the students they have the privilege of knowing, encouraging, nurturing, and leading.
Studies show that the Jr. High and High School years can be so disheartening and difficult.  However, if a young person has someone in their life who affirms their family’s values, encourages their heart and strengthens their spirit—it can make all the difference in the trajectory of their life.  Dan and Nate are committed to doing just that through their encounters with students.
Sunday Youth opportunities at NorthPark include: Park 56 (fifth and sixth graders) meets at 9 a.m.  Jr. High Students meet at 9 a.m.  High School Group meets at 10:30 a.m.  NorthPark Student Ministries also provides weekly small groups, personal discipleship, large-group activities for making friends and having wholesome fun, summer camps, and more!
NorthPark Community Church is located at 28310 Kelly Johnson Parkway in Valencia, off Copperhill and Newhall Ranch, down the street from Wal-Mart.  Our Sunday Services are at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.  Visit us at northpark.com or call our offices at 661-296-6784 for more information.
