Roll out the red carpet, the stars are here. Thank you for all your celebrity sightings, Santa Clarita, keep em’ coming.
He is a barrel of laughs and it’s no surprise he packed the house at the Performing Arts Center at the College of the Canyons last month.
Comedian Jay Leno joined other comedians for the Comics For The Cause, to help benefit the SCV Youth Project. Emmy award winning Jay Leno is known for his late night talk show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The popular comedian is no stranger to television, as he’s made many appearances on Late Night with David Letterman and was a permanent guest host on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Jay was kind enough to take a photo with our publishers, Moe and Linda Hafizi. For more photos of the event, turn to page 20.
I had the amazing opportunity to visit Dial Global here in Santa Clarita. Bill O’Brien, Program Director, Hot AC, graciously invited me to sit in on the radio interview with Matchbox Twenty to promote their new album, North. Singer songwriter, Rob Thomas and lead guitarist Kyle Cook performed one of their hits, 3 A.M., off their debut album, Yourself or Someone Like You, along with She’s So Mean from their new album, North. Not only are they talented, but Rob and Kyle are quite the comedians. They are incredibly talented and have traveled all over the world, winning the hearts of many fans with their soothing tunes. Their fourth album, North, will be available in stores and online, September 4. Rob and Kyle were kind enough to take a photo with me. A special thank you to Kevin Carter, Sr. Editor at RAMP, for snapping the photo during the radio interview and performance.
