After almost two years in development, Golden Oak is pleased to provide our community with another training opportunity – Custodial Maintenance Basics. This program was developed through collaboration with custodial supervisors from the five local school districts and the City of Santa Clarita. It is geared to persons who are interested in pursuing employment in this area, and/or are looking to increase their level of skill.
The class covers important aspects such as work ethic and need for quality work, safety and hazards, material safety data sheets, building cleaning and proper disinfection practices, proper chemical mixing and dilution ratios, and basic knowledge of classroom, bathroom and office cleaning.
The Instructors, Chris Gross and Peter Gaytan, have many years of experience as both workers and supervisors in this relied upon field. This course emphasizes consistency, pride in workmanship, and quality. Golden Oak provides a Certificate upon completion.
