Thirty-three years ago the Country Antique Fair Mall opened its doors to the residents of the Santa Clarita Valley and beyond. It was one of the first Antique and Collectible stores to utilize the Mall concept and allow dealers to rent space from which to sell their unique items.
Unlike a swap meet, where the dealer needed to set up and take down every time there was a show, CAFM provided a place to set up and stay up. In addition, there was a full time staff and the dealers need not be present to sell their items. This concept was very popular and spread throughout the country. It remains popular today, with dealers and customers alike. We at the Country Antique Fair Mall are pleased that we are able to continue to provide such a fabulous venue and look forward to continued success in our wonderful Valley.
Over the past few years we have ventured out to find items that will complement and enhance the store. We carry Howard’s products and Leanin’ Tree greeting cards. We have recently added Victorian Fan Cards from the Old Print Factory and will be expanding on the line. One of our dealers offers Annie Sloan Chalk Paints, while another sells plate hangers and stands. We continually try to find other “Go Withs.”
We have an ever-changing inventory which includes almost anything vintage. Our dealers (almost 100) are constantly searching out treasures for the store. Yes, we have fine porcelains, dishes and signs; we offer fine glass and on occasion a Heddon lure with glass eyes. Cutlery, you will most likely find some, perhaps sitting next to a bayonet. Furniture is abundant, from several different periods and many decorator and kitchen items. Books, toys, linens, the list goes on and on and as you can see, there is something for everyone.
In honor of our continued success and to celebrate our 33rd anniversary, the Country Antique Fair Mall will be hosting a celebration; beginning on November 2 and running thru November 4. Many of our dealers will be offering discounts of up to 50 percent off. As always, there will be free coffee and popcorn along with hourly drawings for gift certificates.
