Santa Claus has come to town and so have the stars!
The holiday season has finally arrived, and the spirit of the season is here, Santa Clarita.
There have indeed been quite a few celebrities in 2012. From MTV’s wolf, actor Tyler Posey, to former NBA Laker, Magic Johnson, heartthrob musician Justin Bieber, actor Atticus Shaffer and many more, it’s been quite a busy year. A definite highlight for me was meeting Matchbox Twenty’s Rob Thomas and Kyle Cook.
I had the awesome opportunity to meet and interview 10-year CNN veteran, Bella Shaw for the December/January issue of élite Magazine. Bella makes her home here in the Santa Clarita Valley and is best known for her work as a journalist on CNN. Read about how she made her way from the farm show in Oklahoma to the international stage at CNN in the current issue of élite.
Major League Soccer’s Dan Kennedy was sighted at a soccer camp by Castaic resident Liza Donihue. “It was really cool that Dan came to my soccer camp,” states Liza. “He was really nice and he inspired me to never give up. He told us about how he never thought he’d be a pro until later in life and then if finally happened. It was really cool that he answered so many of our questions and spent so much time with us.” Kennedy was signed by Chivas USA in April of 2008 and is their current goalkeeper. He was named their Most Valuable Player during the 2011 season.
