Mark your calendar! The Celebrate Life Festival is coming February 2 and 3. Presented by the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce and produced by High Impact! Event Resources, the two day event is totally free to the public. The festival will be held at 25300 Rye Canyon Rd., at Avenue Scott, just a half mile south of Newhall Ranch Rd., where Copperhill becomes Rye Canyon Rd. The festivities run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Saturday’s spotlight is on health, fitness and beauty with free health screenings presented by Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, Advanced Audiology, and other health care providers to be announced soon. Some medical screening will continue on Sunday. Sunday’s spotlight is on wealth, travel and leisure, with exhibitors and speakers sharing information on financial planning, leisure activities and travel options. Additional activities include an E-waste Collection in the parking lot on Saturday, and a special Arts and Crafts Fair both days presenting some of the region’s finest artists and artisans.
Plan to attend both days to have enough time to visit all the exhibitors offering products, services, opportunities and information, plus drawing prizes, special deals and freebies for all. Adults benefit from the presentations and demonstrations on interesting, important and entertaining topics, while the kids enjoy face painting, games and other activities. Everybody will enjoy the line-up of food trucks. The first 1,500 attendees each day receive a free goody bag full of treasures, coupons and specials.
Visit the website for directions to the Festival, a list of sponsors and exhibitors, a schedule of events, and a list of the prizes and specials. Check often – new participants, speakers, activities, prizes and specials are added weekly.
Businesses and organizations interested in exhibiting, sponsoring or advertising will find information and fast, easy online registration on the website. Or call the Chamber office or High Impact Event Resources to inquire or register by phone. Early bird pricing ends December 31, 2012.
