Now that we made it thru 2012, without the Mayan calendar ending it for us, we can now look forward to a great 2013.
So lets talk about the headline. To start with, yours truly is a nice guy, and more often than not, I end up finishing last. Most women want that bad boy image, even if it’s just for show. Now some women that I have dated in the past, were in an abusive relationship before dating me. This could have been physical, or mental abuse. They would tell me what a nice guy I am, which meant the kiss of death to me. After a month or two, they would always go back to that relationship. Why? That’s the million-dollar question, and there could be so many reasons.
I tried being the bad boy, tried smoking, lasted a month, bought a motorcycle, and grew my hair long, with a moustache and beard. It just was not me, so I reverted back to the nice guy. I know a lot of nice guys, and it does make it harder to date, cause a lot of women want that bad boy edge in a man. I see a lot of relationships, which I wonder why they are still together. Is it because they are afraid of change? Or maybe they don’t want to be alone. What’s worse being alone, or being with someone and feeling alone? Bottom line is if you are not happy in your relationship, you need to take the bull by the horns and move on.
I know it’s easier said than done, but what’s the alternative? Ladies there is a nice guy out there for each one of you. Dating nowadays is tougher and tougher. It is also harder to find someone, especially out here in the Santa Clarita Valley. I have even tried a singles night, with mixed results. I never give up though; cause there is someone out there.
Next time you are out, and see someone you might be interested in, say hello and smile. You just never know. I am totally looking forward to 2013, cause this nice guy is looking to finish first for once.
