Love and romance filled the air as guests enjoyed an evening of fine dining, dancing and entertainment at the 2013 Sweetheart Gala, which took place on Saturday, February 9 at the Hyatt Regency Valencia.
This year’s sweetheart couple, Moe and Linda Hafizi, Publishers of The Magazine of Santa Clarita and élite Magazine, were honored at the event. Marlee Laufer introduced the couple, with a speech and video to follow. “We had a wonderful time with friends, family and community members,” states Linda and Moe. “It was a very special night for us, and we’d like to thank Shelley Hann for producing this event to help raise funds for the Cardiac Care Services at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, and Myra Harbour of Celebrate, for donating the beautiful centerpieces.” Guests danced the night away to the lovely tunes of Jimmy Carnelli and his orchestra, singing the classics that everyone knows and loves.
