Another auction has come and gone, and believe it or not, this one was even better. I would personally like to thank the ladies of the Soroptimist club. It was such a great honor to be asked back again. I wish I could tell you everything that happened, but this will have to do. It was incredible, amazing, shocking, exciting, spectacular, fantastic, and unbelievable.
And that was just when I made my entrance. The night started out a little shaky, but the Soroptimists made me feel at home. I was one of the few returning Gentlemen, and I needed to be the rock of Gibraltar to the new guys. Before the auction started, all the guests were able to relax outside have a drink or two, and a small buffet dinner. I tried to visit as many guests as I could, to say hello, and to thank them for coming. There were about 20 gentlemen being auctioned off, and at least one hundred beautiful women of all ages, there to bid. Everywhere I looked, gorgeous women. To say this was a little slice of heaven was an understatement. I was the second gentleman to be auctioned off. There was a small problem with one of the other gentlemen, and I was asked to switch and go second to last. Well, being the gentleman that I am, I of course said yes. The auction began with a blast. The first gentleman was a returnee too, and boy did he set the bar high. It seemed every gentleman was trying to outdo the previous one. A few of the guys even ended up taking their shirts off. The women were going crazy, and the bidding was too. As I waited and waited, I noticed something that was worrying me a little. I started seeing more and more empty chairs. Now I am thinking “what if” no one bids on me? It is finally my turn, and I run up on stage, and prayed. Time stopped, for what seemed an hour. The bidding started and to my relief someone bid. Then another, and pretty soon there was a bidding war. What I did not know then, was that three women put their money together to bid on me. How cool is that? The one that did the bidding got pretty animated to say the least. Needless to say they won the bidding war, and I made more than last year. I was very lucky to be won by three gorgeous women, and I cannot wait for our date. To be continued.
