As we bid adieu to my favorite season summer, I am looking forward to the cool evenings of fall, football on Sundays, hot cocoa by the fire and the smell of baking throughout the house. You may recognize him from his late night talk show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He’s the Emmy award winning and popular comedian, Jay Leno. The comedian has made many appearances on Late Night with David Letterman and was a permanent guest host on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Jay was kind enough to take a photo with Santa Clarita residents Maria Gomez and Elsa Randall. “Even though he was a little under the weather, he was still amazingly charming” states Elsa. “He’s a true professional.”
You may recognize our other celebrities this month. Actor Ty Burrell and Rico Rodriguez were seen filming an episode of the hit comedy series Modern Family in the Bridgeport neighborhood. Ty plays the “cool dad” Phil Dunphy on Modern Family. In 2011, he won an Emmy for his role as Phil. Ty has also starred in movies such as Morning Glory, Fair Game, Incredible Hulk, to name a few.
Ty’s castmate, Rico Rodriguez was also to take a photo with Santa Clarita resident Tyler Weinbert. Rico plays the intelligent Manny Delgado on Modern Family. Rico has also starred on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Cory in the House, to name a few and has won numerous awards for his role as Manny.
