Laughter filled the Performing Arts Center as funnyman Paul Reiser made his debut in the Santa Clarita Valley on Saturday, October 5.  The stand-up comedian entertained the audience with his hilarious take on life.  From being married to raising kids, getting older and everything in between, Paul had the audience laughing hysterically, and at times, in tears.

I had the amazing opportunity to meet Paul in the green room at the Performing Arts Center.  When asked how he got into comedy, he stated, “Comedy is where I started…I was lucky enough to get distracted in film and television.”
Paul is also a writer and published his first book, Couplehood, which sold over two million copies and reached the number one spot on The New York Times best seller list.  He followed up with Babyhood and Familyhood, his most recent book.
Paul recently made his return to comedy stage.  “It wasn’t until a year ago that I went on tour,” stated Paul.  “There’s something that just felt right for me…To come back and do standup just feels refreshing.”
Just moments before his performance at the Performing Arts Center, Paul stated, “Everything I have in my heart will be put on stage tonight.”
And he was right.  What an amazing performance!
