The sixth annual Wine Affair, by Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley once again enlivened Town Center Drive on Sunday, October 20. Supporters came out in hundreds to enjoy the wine, beer, tastings, and live music across the twelve venues staged up and down the street.
Myles McNamara of returning Title Sponsor and second-year Wine Affair Chair Rebecca Johnston started the afternoon off with a champagne toast for the large collection of event sponsors at a special VIP venue, serving delicious upscale fare and wines. Revelers strolled from one end to Town Center Drive to the other, with music ranging from creative singer/songwriters to elegant jazz to raise-the-roof rock’n’roll!
This annual event is key for the programs of Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley, with proceeds supporting efforts to fight critical women’s health issues, while collectively empowering women and girls in the SCV and around the world.
