Happy Holidays everyone. Am I the only one who thinks this year just flew by? Let me start this off by saying a couple weeks ago I met a prospective partner. I just had to say partner, because so many women put this on their profiles. Now, I do not want to offend anyone out there, but if I want a partner, I will open a business. What ever happened to just looking for a girlfriend, and possibly wife? Yeah I still live in the past. Ahh, the good old days…
Ok back to the date. We met, where else, a coffee house. Was it a good date? I will let you decide. We were there for four hours! Then I received a very nice goodbye kiss. I then asked her for another date, and she said yes. We planned a dinner date. I arrived first, and I was a little anxious. Seconds were turning to minutes, and minutes to 10’s of minutes. After a half-hour of waiting it dawned on me, I was stood up! I never found out why, and never heard from her again. So the Luv Doctor just keeps moving on.
I want to take this moment to thank all my readers, even the ones at my work that rip me mercilessly, in a fun way. I feel blessed to do this, and I would like to give something back to you. People are always volunteering for this or that, and I was thinking, what can I, the Luv Doctor do? Then it hit me that not every woman is going to have a happy holiday. So with that I would like to offer a dinner date. I know it’s not much, but if I can brighten someone’s holiday, if only for an evening, then it’s well worth it. You are probably wondering, what’s the catch? Ok there is one, you need to email me. It can be one of my readers, or maybe one of your friends that could use a night out. Just keep it brief, and if I get more than one response “hopefully,” then I will randomly pick one.
I also wanted to say I have been inundated with emails asking where to go in Santa Clarita to meet singles. I am working on this, and I am trying to get some of the restaurants out here to hold a singles’ night. I hope to have some info in the coming months. Here’s to a great 2014.
