What began as a religious feast day for the saint of Ireland has now become a worldwide festival celebrating Irish culture, complete with all shades of green. From green clothing to green beer, to green eggs and well…green ham? Okay, maybe not the ham, but you better be adorned in green on March 17 to avoid getting pinched this St. Patrick’s Day!
St. Patrick’s Day is also associated with shamrocks, leprechauns and lucky four-leaf clovers, so if you’re out and about, and happen to get “lucky” and see a celebrity, be sure and let us know!

There’s no doubt you’ll recognize our first celebrity, after all he is the Italian Stallion…Mr. Sylvester Stallone. Otherwise known as Sly Stallone, the actor is best known for his role as boxer Rocky Balboa in the Academy Award winning film, Rocky and also for his portrayal as soldier John Rambo in the Rambo saga. Just a few years ago, Sylvester Stallone released the action thriller, The Expendables, which he wrote, directed and starred in. The global superstar was kind enough to snap a photo with Galpin Auto Sports Parts Director Mark Zolnoski.
Switched at Birth actresses Katie Leclerc and Vanessa Marano were seen here in Santa Clarita at one of our local coffee shops! The ladies snapped a photo along with their fan, Tanya Alvarez. Katie stars as Daphne Vasquez, a deaf teen who was switched at birth with the artistic Bay Kennish, played by Vanessa Marano. ABC Family’s Switched at Birth follows the two teenagers and their lives as the two families learn how to live together for the sake of the girls.
