On Saturday, February 9, the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) of Santa Clarita hosted a charity fashion show. “Frock the Runway” supported the Habitat For Humanity SFV/SCV at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel to benefit the “WE Build” Women Empowerment Build.
“We Build” focuses on building homes for low-income veteran families. Women and other volunteers are presented with the opportunity to learn construction skills by building more than 220 houses in our community. The charity event started bright and early with sign in at 9:30 a.m. and ended at 1:30 p.m. The clothing for the fashion show was generously donated by Chico’s of Westfield’s Valencia Town Center. People unable to attend the marvelous event were gracious enough to provide sponsorships and donations. The event held raffles with luxurious prizes such as a resort vacation in Cabo San Lucas, spa gift baskets, massage packages, dinner gift cards, and much more! Habitat for Humanity was grateful for everyone that took a step towards helping the community and making the world a better place.
