To say I received a few responses for the date is an understatement. I would like to once again, thank the ladies that emailed me. It was definitely one of the hardest things I ever had to do. Having to pick one out of many responses. So the choice was finally made, and I apologized to all the ones I could not take out. I then emailed the lady that was chosen, and we exchanged numbers. I called her about 11 in the morning, and of course woke her up.

She called me back a little later, after she had her coffee. We talked for a little bit, and then set up a day and time for our date. It was to be the week before Christmas, in the middle of the week. I wanted to take her somewhere nice out here, so I decided on Salt Creek. We planned to meet there, so I went ahead and made a reservation for us. I was going over the date in my head, having a nice dinner, and then sitting outside by the fire pit enjoying a drink. Afterwards pick a nice movie to see. Everything was set for the perfect date. The day before the date, I was in the middle of my workday, when I received a text message from my date. It seems that she had a Christmas party to go to, and had to cancel the date. I will just let you imagine how I felt inside. When I replied, all I could say was okay, thanks a lot! So now I am in the position of trying to get a hold of one of the other women that I had already said sorry to. It took awhile, but I finally was able to contact another lady. Of course it was too late to do it before Christmas. We were able to set up the date before New Year’s. This time it worked. We met at the restaurant, and had a fantastic time. Then I asked her to pick a movie, and she told me to pick one. So we both decided on a movie. We were both tired after the movie, so I walked her to her car, and we hugged and said goodnight. I know some of you are wondering if there were any sparks? Well no, there was not. This was not about me. This was for a woman, who might not have had a nice evening for the holidays.
P.S. She emailed me later, and thanked me for making her holidays better.
