Indian cuisine encompasses a wide variety spices, herbs, vegetables and fruits, and is heavily influenced by Indian culture.  “From my grandma, to my mom, to me, the food I serve in my kitchen is my heritage,” states Poonam. “The food we serve is both delicious and health,” states Poonam.  “Many of our foods and spices are food for the heart, the body and the mind.” 
Indulge in a vegetable, cheese or fish pakora (seasoned fritters) or Muligatawany, a delicately spiced lentil soup garnished with riche and chicken to begin your meal.  If you’re in the mood for a tandoori delicacy, prepared in the tandoor and served sizzling hot on a bed of onions and fresh lemon with mint chutney, you won’t be disappointed.  Turn up the head as much as your taste buds will allow as your tandoori delicacy is spiced to your taste, be it mild, medium or hot.  If you’re in the mood for seafood,the menu has a variety of shrimp and fish to choose from.  From tender cooked shrimp with spinach, ginger and spices (Shrimp Saag), to fish cooked with potatoes (Fish Vindaloo) or jumbo shrimps cooked in cocnut and cream (Shrimp Malai) your seafood appetite will indeed be fulfilled. 
End your Indian cuisine dining experience with a homemade dessert.  Cool down your meal with delicious Indian ice cream, flavored with cardaman and pistachio (Kulfi) or rice pudding, garnished with nuts and served chilled (Kheer).
