Renowned radio talk show host, commentator and prolific author Dennis Prager returns to the Santa Clarita Valley for a very special “Distinguished Speaker Series” presentation on Saturday, May 10, at 8 p.m. at Congregation Beth Shalom. Choosing to comment on “Why People Are Alienated From Religion?” at a house of worship is typical of Prager, who has always approached controversial topics head on. His presentation on “Why People Are Alienated From Religion?” will include a Q&A session with his audience, which should make for lively discussion.
Dennis Prager, one of the nation’s most respected radio talk show hosts, has broadcast from Los Angeles since 1982. His popular show airs live Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to noon from his home station KRLA AM 870.
Prager’s presentation at CBS is open to the community. Best-reserved seating is now on sale in limited supply on a first-come basis.
Congregation Beth Shalom is offering a “Santa Clarita Patron Package” at $136 per person, which includes an autographed copy of Mr. Prager’s most recent book, Still the Best Hope: Why the World Needs American Values to Triumph, and an exclusive pre-show wine and cheese reception attended by Mr. Prager. Reserved seating tickets are also on sale at $50 per person. Proceeds from the event will benefit Congregation Beth Shalom’s Early Childhood Education Center, Religious School and other congregational programs.
